Reviews and Ratings
The deluxe room my family and I booked lacked a mini chiller, and despite being plain and in need of upgrading, it was clean. The service, especially from Michael the bellman, was amazing and very accommodating. The location near the Bob Marley museum was safe and convenient, offering a great stay in Kingston. The dining experience lacked variety for specific dietary requirements but offered a lovely Continental meal with a touch of Jamaican influence.
During my stay at the hotel, the rooms were a little dated and could use more power sockets by the bed, but they had very comfortable beds and pillows, which mattered most to me. The service was courteous, although the staff could benefit from more hospitality training to improve their smiling. The location, right in the middle of New Kingston, offered a good mix of nature and urban surroundings, great for nightlife but with limited dining options. The dining experience was just okay, not very impressive. The facilities were clean and suitable for a short stay.
My stay at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms didn't have an overwhelming smell of mold, which was a relief, but they were on the expensive side for what they offered. I did enjoy having a balcony that overlooked part of the car park, leading to a quiet atmosphere near the restaurant. Being on the ground floor right next to the pool was convenient.
The hotel is located in a convenient area close to ministries and offices, making it ideal for business travelers. The rooms were nice and very clean, offering two huge double beds and a fridge, though there was a slight unpleasant smell. The service was very helpful and welcoming, with pleasant staff members. The location was fantastic for exploring New Kingston's offerings, but there were concerns about security due to previous break-ins. The dining experience was average considering the room price, with regional products being highlighted. The facilities were decent overall.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room was clean and well-appointed, but it was small and had issues with the AC and cable. On the positive side, the breakfast was great. However, I found a more comfortable hotel for a better price without the high taxes. The surroundings were still a bit barren.
The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms, despite some drawbacks. The service can be inconsistent, but there were a few standout positive experiences. The location is convenient for exploring Kingston, although not ideal for some specific places. The dining options are pleasant, though lacking variety. The facilities are decent, with some areas needing improvement.
